The 2nd Annual Meeting and 1st Spring School took place in Paris, at Laboratorie de Meteorologie Dynamque, Ecole Normale Superieure, from 28th May to 1st June 2018. Our French partners at the LMD did a great job at organising the Spring School, as it had a very high participation. Not only all the ESRs of the project participated to the school but also students and researchers not taking part in the COMPLETE project attended the school. There was a vast selection of lecturers:
Remi Roca from CNRS, LEGOS
Helene Brogniez from Paris Saclay University, LATMOS
Cathy Hohenegger from MPIM
Francoise Guichard from CNRM
Jean - Baptiste Madeleine from LMD, Sorbonne University
Adrian Tompkins from ICTP (International centre for Theoretical Physics)
Sandrine Bony from CNRS
Chris Holloway from University of Reading
Oierre Gentine from Columbia University

One entire day during the school was dedicated to the annual meeting of the COMPLETE Consortium where all ESRs and their supervisors were present, together with three External Advisors (Zellman Warhaft, Alain Pumir and Bernhard Mehlig) and the REA appointed expert, Prof. Joachim Curtius. First part of the meeting was dedicated to the beneficiary partners who presented their research work, followed by the Coordinator's report of the work carried out within the COMPLETE project thus far. The second part of the meeting was dedicated to the ESRs' presentations of their individual research project and their progress until now. All the ESRs had a chance to speak to the expert, Prof. Curtius, regarding their experience and the meeting was closed with the suggestions on how to proceed with the work within the project by Prof. Curtius.
