I was born in Quito, Ecuador. I received my master’s degree in Engineering Science in the Field of Electrical Engineering from The University of Queenslad (UQ) in Australia, and currently, I am a PhD candidate in the Department of Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering at the Politecnico di Torino (POLITO) in Italy.
Regarding my work experience, I worked at the Geophysical Institute of the Escuela Politecnica Nacional (IG-EPN) in Ecuador as Technical Engineer and Geophysicist for more than ten years (2005-2013, 2015-2017), focusing on the control, design, implementation, maintenance and operation of seismic and volcanic instrumental networks.
Currently, I am a Marie Curie fellow working inside the Cloud-MicroPhysics-Turbulence-Telemetry (COMPLETE) Innovative Training Network - H2020 Marie Sklodowska Curie Actions, recruited by the project partner Envisens Technologies S.r.l in Italy. My current research interests include cloud microphysics, Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN), Internet-of-Things (IoT), atmospheric and environmental monitoring, electromagnetic propagation and, electronic design.
